De/Anti-Icing Seminar (September 2008)

gForce Technologies and the National Air Transportation Association have teamed up to present a De/Anti-Icing Seminar in September 2008. This partnership is a natural fit between both organizations as NATA is the industry's definitive leader of safety awareness and gForce Technologies is widely respected for its deicing training systems.

gForce Technologies will have its Tempest Deicing Training System to complement the De/Anti-Icing discussion by demonstrating the usage of the system. You will get a hands-on feel to determine how it fits into your training curriculum.

Boise, ID - September 4, 2008

Flying is inherently safe, although winter adds another dimension. Flight safety may be compromised if de/anti-icing is improperly performed. It is therefore mandatory that all personnel involved receive both initial and recurrent training, in order to ensure they obtain a thorough understanding of aircraft ground de/anti-icing policies and procedures. Critical issues such as training, procedures and responsibilities must be reviewed on an annual basis, to guarantee that all persons involved are fully briefed and competent.
